Overview
Kastak is the meta-form of Kastan. It has a shield-like, armoured head built for ramming. When the herd is under attack, the adults will surround their infants with their skulls pointing outward, forming a defensive circle around them. While it’s ostensibly a display structure and a weapon for ritualistic combat, its horns also function as a sensor array, allowing it keep track of where its herd mates are at any given time. This Kreature has a rowdy, playful nature and will smash through things with its head just for the sport of it. It may even find itself unable to resist headbutting its own Tamer if they happen to bend over in front of it.

That you’ve based Kastak is based on Mesohippus, a lesser known prehistoric animal is good, but that you’ve also sprinkled some Styracosaurus in the design with its head crests is even better. 🙂
